The Process: A Journey in Creation

Where do we begin?

With a conversation.

Designing a piece of jewelry is never just about materials—it’s about meaning. Whether it’s for yourself or someone dear to you, we start by talking. Not just about stones and settings, but about stories. What inspires you? What colors feel like home? What memories do you want to carry? And most importantly—who is this piece for, and what part of their spirit should it reflect?

This is the psychology of jewelry design. It’s the part I treasure most. Listening, understanding, and translating emotion into form.

From there, sketches begin to take shape. Ideas move from words to lines, and you’ll see your vision start to live on paper. We refine together—your feedback guiding each iteration—until the design feels just right.

Then comes the wax mold, a tactile preview of what’s to come. You’ll be able to hold it, see it, imagine it on skin. Once approved, the final piece is cast, polished, and brought to life.

Throughout this process, I work closely with a trusted team of artisans—bench jewelers, setters, appraisers—each one bringing their expertise to ensure the result is not only beautiful, but enduring.

It’s a journey. One that honors your story, your taste, and your intention. And I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
